The other drawback is the unnecessary long psychoanalysis near the end of the book. After overplaying Vera-Ellen's greatness the whole book, the author does everything possible to dissect her strength of character.
If not for these problems, the book would rate 5 stars. Either way, I wish more bios were done of Golden age stars of second tier /5.
